this is my place

The condition of reclusion experienced by humans during COVID time led Bonello to create “This is my place”.
The thought underlying this action arises from an atavistic question: what is the
place in which and the way how a man should live?
The equilateral triangle, the Platonic form par excellence, origin of many complex forms in nature, thus divides the space, the house, the place where to take refuge into (nature), the place from which to relegate civilization out.
The performance took place into this ephemeral and inviolable space, which can be set up both into nature or in urban spaces such as squares or parks, and it’s opened to the Audience who walks, sleeps, reflects, stands and gets out in a perpetual motion, as metaphor of always moving forward and never stopping.
One of the triangle’s vertexes has been accurately aligned with the sunset point to make the Artwork claim the function of an environmental compass showing the way to the eternity, marked by the cycle sunrise – sunset / day – night, as absolute balance between nature and progress.
